In order to discover creative talents and maximize the value of different industries, Cultural Affairs Bureau, Tainan City Government has been inviting people from different fields to contribute their design concepts since 2019. The timeline of this annual campaign is register from April to June, and collection of design works from July to September. The theme of the design concept is “Tainan”, and the core spirit of creation is “making life better”. This award is a platform for designers to create great works which make life better, and demonstrate the unique Tainan way of innovation and energy, and eventually to represent the holistic life style of Tainan, which is the fusion of both old and new. In addition, it also brings the concept of “social design” and “recycle design” in order to motivate more social thinking, generate group awareness, have bigger creative energy, and build up a greater social influence via the innovation of the city. All of these are for the ultimate goal of making Tainan a wonderful organic city.

The final result of the campaign will be the exhibition which combines with the campaign of Tainan design week. They are synergized to create the unique Tainan innovation and energy.
